Yab 0.2
Ask your agent right from the field, mail in a space of its own, a new welcome, live folders, routines, and screen sharing from Yab's own box.
Added
Ask your agent from ⌘T or ⌘L: under any words, Search, Ask and Task, with what your words read as on top. A question is answered right in the field, with follow-ups, and knows the page you're on and what you read.
Mail, off until you turn it on in Settings › Mail: your Gmail in a space of its own, kept on this Mac and sorted by what each mail wants, with replies written ahead for mail that needs you.
Remind Me and Send Later on a thread, Undo Send, and Do It, which hands a mail to your agent.
The code a site mails or texts you hangs under the box that asks for it, and Return puts it in.
The mail pin says how many need you, and ⇧⌘I goes to mail and back.
Agents read, search and draft your mail through Yab's own tools; sending stays yours.
A new welcome: Yab's own parts at their real size, from the first glass to Start Browsing.
Yab's own menu at the foot of the box, ⇧⌘K: Send Feedback, Changelog, Keyboard Shortcuts, updates and About.
Hold ⇧ over a link for what it is about, in a tip under the pointer.
A newer Yab is written by hand beside the Update button.
Live folders: your GitHub pull requests kept up to date in a folder of their own, and folders fed by a GitHub search, Linear issues, Figma, Notion, Google Drive, YouTube subscriptions or any site's feed.
Routines in Settings › AI, made the way commands are: a prompt, the tabs it works in and how often; what they find comes to ⌘T, the chat column and ⌘J.
Share a tab, a window or the screen from Yab's own box when a page asks, as Chrome does.
A call's floating window picks the microphone, speaker and camera, and shares the screen.
Resting on a pin lists what is there: today's meetings with Join, its live folder's tabs, or the pages you last read on the site.
The band's "+N" lists every tab playing or paused, with Pause All, and a speaker that mutes the one playing.
Right-click Yab in the Dock for its windows by their pages, New Window and New Private Tab.
⌘J can open a chat about the page, or carry the line's words into one (Settings › AI › Agents).
Kept tabs get short names: the site's name left out, and a long title said in a few words on this Mac.
Recently Added lists bookmarks newest first.
New Mail stands on glass at the top of mail's column.
The mail pin wears an envelope with its count at the corner, and its card lists the threads that need you.
Improved
Connecting Claude Code or Codex shows every step on its icon, and Get to Know works out of sight, its tabs in one folder.
The page lays itself out as ⌘S moves the column.
Every line of a tab's menu has its mark.
A pin's card stays up while the pointer runs over its lines.
One-time codes are set in Settings › Autofill.
The chat column comes in and goes away smoothly, the window laid out once.
Tooltips, a page's own too, sit on the same dark glass as toasts.
Both right-click menus wear the same marks as ⌘K.
The private box is tinted evenly, in a deeper violet.
⌃Tab goes through today's tabs you last looked at, leaving pins and kept tabs out.
The window's look is set on Appearance, from a dot; the Look page is gone.
Developer Mode is offered only for a page you went to, in the row.
A chat's answer not opened yet says "new", in the chats' list and on the Routines place.
A pin's corner says how many wait, and a meeting's minutes, on one plate.
Mail keeps to Gmail's quota: it paces each account, waits out a slow down and goes on with a first sync cut short.
Before Google's sign-in page, Yab says it will warn about Yab and what to press.
A sent form's new answers are kept without asking, and the morning look sorts them.
Mail, the ⌘J answer, chats and form marks wear your Mac's accent color.
The Update button stands where the space capsule was in the column.
⌘K's list goes away on a click anywhere else.
Changed
The field's History row is gone: Ask answers from your history instead.
The bookmarks bar is a plain on or off switch.
Mail leaves the extensions button out.
Fixed
⇧⌘M mutes a tab for real, as its speaker does.
⇧⌘C in the field copies the chosen row's link.
A private tab stays out of what ⌘J and chats give agents.
The window comes back from the Dock after an agent has worked in a page.
What an agent asks stays in step between its chat and the page.
An agent's script gives back an async script's value, and an older Yab still running says which to open instead of "unknown".
⇥ puts the search above the agent's row again.
The agents' room goes back off screen when a display comes or goes.
