Yab 0.30
Google Docs sharp on macOS 26.1 and 26.2, kept tabs in every window, Dia's folders, and pages from Claude as cards in the chat.
Added
Artifact cards
A page Claude publishes in the chat shows as a card with its picture: click it for Peek, ⌥-click to open it beside the page in Split View, ⌘-click for a tab. A new version updates the card and any open copy in place, it opens without signing in to claude.ai and it stays after a restart. Right-click for Copy Link, Share… and Show in Finder.
Dia's folders
Bring In from Dia brings its folders, nested and in Dia's order, with favorites as pins and today's groups as today's folders, where before every tab came in loose.
Bookmark menus
Right-click a bookmark in the bookmarks bar, in » or in a folder's menu for Open in New Tab, Copy Link, Edit… and Delete; a folder has Open All in New Tabs, Rename… and Delete…, as in Chrome. ⌘Z brings a deleted bookmark back.
Two-factor codes from CSV
Passwords brought in from Safari, 1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass, Proton Pass or Dashlane keep their two-factor codes, and Proton Pass logins with only a username keep their name.
Improved
Kept tabs in every window
A space's kept tabs, pins and folders are in every window of it: a window opened with ⌘N shows them asleep, keeping a tab, letting one go or opening and closing a folder in one window shows in the others at once, and a restart keeps them.
Agent errors
When an agent falls over, its card says why in the agent's own words, such as "Claude said: The session file is locked.", with the rest under Details.
Stopped tasks
A task you stop says so in its chat, "You stopped after 4s · 1 step", even when you stop it before its first step.
Long chats
A long chat opens at once: one of 40 turns shows in about a third of the time it took.
DevTools
In Styles, ↑ and ↓ step a value as in Chrome (⇧ by 10, ⌥ by 0.1, ⌘ by 100), Escape puts it back without opening the drawer, names and values complete as you type, and a color's swatch opens the color panel. Sources lists a bundle's own files from its source map, stops at a breakpoint set in one of them and pretty prints a file with { }, and Coverage works on pages with workers.
Changed
⌘D keeps the tab
⌘D keeps the tab in the sidebar, as in Arc; Add This Page has no key of its own now and takes one in Settings › Shortcuts. Shortcuts you set yourself stay as they were.
Closing tabs and windows
The File menu has Close Tab ⌘W and Close Window ⇧⌘W, as in Chrome and Arc; Close Window moves there from the Window menu.
Fixed
Google Docs on macOS 26
Text in Google Docs is sharp on macOS 26.1 and 26.2: documents drew at a quarter of the screen's sharpness.
OneTab
OneTab works again: its button and right-click menu keep every tab of the window, asleep tabs and other spaces' tabs too, its list shows each site's icon and comes to the front, and Restore All brings tabs back in their order.
Swiping into Mail
Two fingers over the sidebar go into Mail and back out with spaces off too, and over a sidebar brought out as a card. Mail's sidebar no longer lands half drawn from the space you left.
Saving passwords
A wrong password is never offered to save or to replace the right one, a bank's memorable-word boxes aren't taken for a password, and sign-ins that clear their boxes as you press the button are offered for saving.
Filling passwords
The password step fills by itself once you picked the account on the name step, picking an account after typing a few letters fills the whole name, and hidden boxes meant to catch bots stay empty.
Card security code
A saved card's security code goes in at checkouts that put it in a box of its own, as Stripe, Adyen and Braintree do.
Routines
Editing a routine while it runs no longer loses that run, Run Now during a run doesn't start a second one, a duplicated routine runs only on this Mac, and a run that can't finish says why, such as a plan out of room or a sign-in needed. Settings › Routines fits long repeat times like "Mondays and Thursdays 9:00 AM".
Spaces row
A click lets go of the row of spaces when a swipe never finished, such as three fingers to another desktop, and the click reaches the page.
Tasks from ⌘T
A task given from ⌘T on a page with a chat of its own shows in the chat instead of the old answer, and so do Show Chat in a folder's menu and Open Answer in Now.
Cards over the field
A site's card for the camera, your location or Developer Mode steps aside while ⌘T's or ⌘L's field is up and comes back after, instead of covering the field's rows.
Return over a result
Return and Escape over a command's result, such as a rewrite's Copy, act on the result, not on a site's card on the tab.
Agent notices
"Claude couldn't finish" in the corner sits under a site's card instead of across its title.
Moved shortcuts
With Reload moved off ⌘R in Settings › Shortcuts, ⌘R no longer reloads without the cache, and with Close Tab moved off ⌘W, ⌘W no longer closes the whole window.
Extensions and pages
A site talking to an extension that has gone to sleep wakes it and gets its answer, as claude.ai does with Claude for Chrome and 1Password does with Add Browser.
Empty spaces
A space you left with no tab in front comes back with none, after a restart too, as in Arc, instead of opening its first pin or folder tab.
Welcome on any screen
Keep its spaces, Shift with tabs and Get Started take a click at any window size, such as a MacBook Air's: before, they only did at one size.
SingleFile
SingleFile's button comes back after a save instead of staying at 100%.
Extension popups
An extension's popup opened from the extensions list hangs from its controls, which stay on screen, not from an empty corner.
