YabYab 0.39.1
Build 202610241846
Added
Gmail with an app password
New Gmail accounts connect with a Google app password, the way iCloud and other mail services do.
Hide the media player
Settings › Tabs can hide the sidebar's media player; what plays keeps playing.
Hide the sidebar button
Settings › Appearance can hide the sidebar button in the toolbar.
AppleScript
Yab answers AppleScript and its command line for tabs, spaces and private windows, which the Raycast extension uses.
Improved
Instant field
The Cmd-T and Cmd-L field appears and closes at once, as in Arc.
Back to the source tab
Back on a tab opened from a link closes it and returns to the tab that opened it, as in Arc.
Split pairs in folders
A focused Split View pair stays whole under a collapsed folder.
Player covers
The sidebar player shows covers and buttons from players inside frames.
Download names
Tidy Downloads names a picture without words after its page, and no longer invents dates.
Fixed
Tabs under folders
Tabs near the bottom of the sidebar, such as Today tabs below an open folder, open on the first click again.
Spaces after an update
If the list of spaces is damaged, Yab brings back every space whose tabs are still saved instead of showing only Personal.
Vimium C
Vimium C's options page opens and saves, and its keys work on pages.
Streaming answers
The chat stays steady while an answer streams in.
Picking a row
Picking a row with the field open no longer flashes the old tab first.
