Yab 0.0.11
Sync between your Macs, a call window that says what Meet says, and React Developer Tools.
Added
Sync between your Macs
Turn on Settings › Sync and your spaces, tabs, folders, bookmarks, settings and routines follow you to your other Macs, end-to-end encrypted. There is no email or password: the account is a key iCloud Keychain carries, or a code typed on a Mac already in.
Chats and history on every Mac
Sync also carries your chats and the last two weeks of history. Words written to a chat on another Mac go to the Mac that runs it, and its answer comes back. History has its own switch in Settings › Sync.
React Developer Tools
React Developer Tools works in the DevTools card: Components and Profiler sit in its head after Console, and stay through reloads.
Picture-in-Picture for pages
A site that floats a part of its page, such as a timer or a chat, can: it stays over your other windows, with Back to Tab.
The call window says what Meet says
Rec, someone asking to come in (Deny, Admit, Admit All), hands, reactions, messages and captions show in the call window. ⋯ holds a hand, captions, a reaction and the chat, which you can answer from there. A tucked call's tab grows for a knock, a message or a hand.
Hide things like this
Don't Show Things Like This works on Yab's own rows too: on a mail row it hides that sender or that kind of mail, and Settings lists what you hid, with Show Again.
Mail keeps what matters, experimental
In Mail, Needs you holds what asks you something, the rest goes to Other or Archive, and ads stay out. What you promised in your mail is kept under Promised, with a row on the new tab.
Improved
Floating windows rest in corners
A floating video or call rests in a corner or tucked behind a side; a drag or a two-finger flick sends it to the corner that way. A tucked call says when you're muted, your camera is on or you're sharing.
Mic and camera answer the press
In the call window the microphone and camera turn over as you press them, not when you let go.
Leave just leaves
Leave in the call window leaves Meet without its "End the call or just leave?" question. If you started the call, the call comes back to its tab with the question up.
Steps in an answer's line
An answer's steps fold into its line: the sites it worked on and how many steps. A click shows its tabs, every step and Close All Tabs.
Unread answers
The history button marks answers you haven't read yet.
Addresses read whole
An address in the autofill list starts with the street and its number, whole, the apartment beside it and the city and ZIP under it.
Background chats stay out of your lists
Claude and Codex chats Yab runs in the background are archived in the Claude and Codex apps, so they don't fill your lists there.
Code, experimental
Code shows a chat's work as it happens, asks what a chat waits on right in it, and its rows have a menu with Rename, Mark as Unread and Archive All Below.
Glass under Look
The glass window is chosen in Settings › Appearance › Look; Settings › Experimental offers it there.
Changed
Keys no longer light up
Holding ⌘ no longer lights up shortcuts, and a pressed shortcut no longer flashes.
Fixed
Sharing a tab to Meet
Sharing a tab in Google Meet shares that tab, smoothly, instead of turning to the system's picker and the whole screen.
Player with the sidebar on the right
With the sidebar on the right, the player's open card opens over the page instead of past the window's edge.
Passwords in the small window
Saved passwords fill in the small window a link from another app opens in, its page fits the window, and Open moves it into your tabs as it is.
NordPass Continue
NordPass's Continue goes on to Nord Account instead of stopping.
⌥↩ puts the tab last
⌥↩ from the field puts the new tab at the end of the list, as in Arc.
Recent Tabs once
A tab shows only once in Recent Tabs.
Plan limits after a reset
Plan limits refresh when they reset outside Yab.
