Yab 0.0.14
Yab no longer freezes after an update, an icon picker like Arc's, and mail that stays on your Mac.
Added
Change Icon like Arc's
Change Icon… on a pin, a kept tab or a folder opens a picker hanging from it: every emoji, found by name or meaning, 90 icons drawn in the tab's ink, and Choose Image….
Look in Settings
Settings › Appearance's Look has a chip for each space that opens its colors, Shift with tabs and drawings right there, and a space changes without switching to it. The welcome's color step has the same controls.
Agents tidy your labels
In a chat you are in, an agent can list, make, rename and delete your Gmail labels. Gmail's own labels are never touched.
Mail's own ideas
In mail, the chat column offers mail's own rows: Do what this email asks, Summarize, What needs me today, and ones from what this Mac already knows, at once and without asking a model.
Split summaries switch
Settings › Mail › Reading has Split summaries for Claude's line over a split. It runs only once Claude is connected.
Improved
Mail's column scrolls as one
The lists, the space's tabs and the labels go under the account and the search at the top and under Kept at the bottom, fading as they go.
Mail on one line
A thread's words and the sender's name start on the column's line.
The chosen list at once
A list you pick in mail's column shows as chosen at once, with no plate flying over to it.
Answers in one size
A heading in an agent's answer is a semibold line at the size of the words around it.
Spaces come in as they are
The next space slides in with a task's folder shut as it is, in the card's own color, across the top too.
Sorting's card
The card that says what sorting did has a Got It button and goes for good when you click it.
Fixed
No freeze after an update
Yab no longer freezes for minutes on the first sign-in after an update while it moves your passwords, cards and addresses to its own place in the keychain. It does that in the background now, once.
Mail stays on this Mac
With sync on, nothing of Gmail's goes to your other Macs: chats about mail, mail's splits and lists, snippets and Gmail's sign-in page in history stay where they were made.
