Yab 0.0.15
Folders in folders, Chrome's Network in Developer Tools, and extensions that follow you to your other Macs.
Added
Folders in folders
Your folders can hold folders, as Arc's do, up to five deep.
Favorites in ⌘T
⇧⌘F, or Add to Favorites in a row's ⌘K, keeps the row under Favorites in the empty field, as Raycast does. ⌥⌘↑ and ⌥⌘↓ move it.
Search suggestions
⌘T's field suggests searches from your search engine, above the agent's actions. Settings › Search turns them off.
Chrome's Network
Network in the Developer Tools card is Chrome's: its table, filters, request details and splits that drag.
Extensions and plugins sync
Sync carries your extensions from the Chrome Web Store and your plugins between your Macs, with whether each is on and pinned.
Hide the tab bar
With the tabs across the top, ⌘S hides the tab bar, and the window's top edge brings it out over the page. Yab remembers it.
⌘Z brings tabs back
⌘Z brings back the tabs you closed whenever you are not typing.
Small window buttons
The small window for links from other apps has Back, Forward and Reload beside its window buttons, as the browser does, with ⌘[ ⌘] ⌘R and ⌘. working there too.
Pins in every space
Settings › Spaces › Pins › In Every Space shows your pinned tabs in every space that shares sign-ins, the same live tabs through a switch, as Arc's Favorites do; a space with its own sign-ins keeps its own pins. New installs start with it; if you used Yab before, your pins stay in their spaces until you choose otherwise.
Improved
The sidebar comes out as Dia's
A put-away sidebar comes out from the window's edge after a short rest and goes again as Dia's does.
Tabs go under the edges
The tabs scroll under the pins and the address at the top and under the foot at the bottom, fading as they go.
Folded mails in a stack
A thread's folded mails stand in one stack between the open ones, as Superhuman stacks them.
Developer Tools on paper
The Developer Tools card stands on the page's own paper, and its edge drags to resize it, a double click back to where it was.
Peek as one card
A peek opens and closes as one card with the address bar, even margins all round and a soft dim behind.
Downloads as Arc's
The column's recent downloads are rows like Arc's with square pictures, four at most.
Reload and Stop as Arc's
The reload arrow and the stop cross swap with Arc's quick scale.
The last tab closes
Closing the last tab leaves an empty window, as in Arc, instead of opening a pinned one.
The window tiles as any other
Dragging the window by its top and the green button's menu tile it as macOS does.
Escape means no
Escape on the autofill list keeps Fill the form from asking again on that page. ⌥↩ still fills.
Default browser row
Settings no longer shows the Default browser row once Yab is your default.
Closing a tab in a folder
A tab in a folder says how it closes, as Arc's pinned tabs do: Close and Keep (⌘W, the cross) puts it to sleep and keeps its row, Remove from Folder takes it out for good, and ⌘Z puts it back in its folder.
Fixed
Leaving a call
Closing a call's tab with ⌘W, or quitting during a call, now leaves the call, where Meet kept you in it for the others until it gave up.
No stray downloads
A page whose answer has no clear type opens instead of downloading, such as a blank YouTube page.
The row of spaces after a swipe
After a swipe the column no longer stays a few points off to one side, cut by the card's edge.
Floating video at the edge
Gestures on a floating video tucked at the window's edge work again.
Extension popups close themselves
A popup that closes itself, like Bitwarden's after Fill, now goes away as in Chrome instead of staying open over the page.
