Yab 0.0.20
Swipes between spaces that keep working, sign-ins that stay, Zen in Bring In, and a lighter column.
Added
Bring in from Zen
Settings › Bring In takes bookmarks and history from Zen and Firefox. Passwords come in from their own CSV export.
Bookmarks show
Settings › Appearance › Bookmarks show: icons and names, icons only, or folders named and sites as icons.
Folders for agents
An agent can take tabs out of a folder, put them in one, or ungroup a folder, each undone like the column's own.
Play from the foot
A paused video at the column's foot has ▶ at the row's end, to play it again where it is.
Improved
Switching spaces
A switch no longer rebuilds the column's rows, so it is about a third quicker with many tabs.
History first in ⌘T
Pages you've visited, Ask and Task come before the search engine's suggestions, four of them at most.
The band slides
With the column on the right, the band with the lights slides the page, the bookmarks and the chat down whole instead of making the page shorter.
Extensions at launch
Every extension's button shows at once, and no welcome page opens again.
Fewer redraws
The column and the tabs redraw less when a setting or a page changes.
The plus on the right
With the column on the right, the plus at its foot sits nearest the page.
Fixed
Swipes between spaces
Two fingers sideways over the column switch spaces again after a while of use.
Spaces over each other
Mid-swipe, the leaving space's name and pins no longer show over the incoming one.
Signed out less
Sign-ins kept only for the session survive a crash or Force Quit, and a site that renews its sign-in in the background no longer signs the tab out.
Renamed tabs
A renamed kept tab keeps its name after it browses away from its page.
Rabby Wallet
Rabby's popup opens, and sites find the wallet.
AdBlock
AdBlock's background no longer stops at every launch.
Extensions in private tabs
Allow in Private Tabs lets an extension work there.
1Password on local pages
1Password no longer errors on a page whose address has a port.
A page's picture in picture
A page's own picture in picture opens its window again instead of a tab.
Looping videos
A looping video's time in the player card goes round instead of stopping at the end.
The player's place
The player at the column's foot sits 6 points in from the window, never on its edge.
Settings › Tabs
Two switches there show their new state at once.
Free, for macOS 15.4 or later.
