Yab 0.1.0
Build 202609251856
Fast is yab now, yet another browser, with a new welcome, a new field for ⌘T and ⌘L, and calls and music that stay out of the way. Tabs can be kept, as Arc keeps its pinned rows: above a line in the column, in folders of your own, never tidied away, and ⌘W puts one to sleep; Arc's pinned tabs and folders come over that way.
Added
One field for ⌘T and ⌘L in the middle of the window, on Liquid Glass, with clipboard history, emoji and sums in it.
Fill a whole form at once, and cards and addresses kept and filled the way passwords are.
Calls float in a window of their own, with Meet's own microphone and camera switches.
What plays in a tab you aren't looking at shows as one line over the column's foot, with previous, pause and next.
Spaces are one capsule and one tray, and two fingers take the column to the next space.
Split view the way Arc had it: two tabs side by side as one row, and a peek that opens beside its tab.
The lock in the address bar opens a card about the site.
⌥⇧⌘C copies the page as a Markdown link.
Any shortcut can be given another key, or none, in Settings › Shortcuts.
Safari's cards, passwords, bookmarks and history come in from its export, and another browser's spaces come in as spaces.
Agents can read a site without a tab, write the way you write, and remember Always here and Never here.
Improved
The welcome: the glass mark, its light coming on under it, the name in full, and a look at what yab does before it asks anything.
The ad blocker reads the lists uBlock Origin reads.
Forty agents at once each keep to their own tabs.
Scrolling a page with the trackpad, a space of many tabs, and loading pages no longer hold the window.
Every key the app shows stands on a plate, at the size of the words beside it, and ↩ is the Mac's own.
Changed
The mark is the glass picture the app icon is made of, and the accent is its violet.
Send Feedback, Rename Space and every question ask in yab's own card.
Updates come from yetanotherbrowser.com.
Fixed
Pages no longer flash white when they grow.
A second ⌘W while half of a pair closes no longer leaves an empty page.
The glass keeps its look when yab is behind another app.
