Yab 0.1.1
Build 202609281005
yab puts AI where you already are: connect Claude Code or Codex once, and selected text, a whole task or a question about the page goes to it from ⌘J. Windows of their own, folders that open like Arc's, and a welcome that leads with the agent.
Added
Selection commands: select text anywhere and ask ⌘J to rewrite, explain or translate it, with a model per command, as Raycast's AI commands do.
Hand an agent a task in your own words, and watch it in a folder of its own tabs.
All of AI in one Settings page, behind connecting Claude Code or Codex.
Independent windows, and a tab can move to another window or space.
Folders of your own: hold one tab over another, and a shut folder shows its front and springs open under a held tab.
A site's links from other apps can open in one space, as Arc's Air Traffic Control does.
Capture a part of the page, framed, straight to the clipboard.
Page translation.
Quick Actions with keys of their own.
Developer Mode for pages served from this Mac.
A meeting about to start, a link you just copied, and what you open on a schedule show under the empty field.
The field works out units, rates and dates, as a launcher's calculator does.
Improved
The welcome leads with the agent, follows the window's light or dark, and picks your color on a wheel.
Opening the field, typing in it and the actions menu no longer stall.
A space of many tabs, restoring windows and launching cost less.
Every icon is Central's own now.
Changed
yab needs macOS 15.4.
Daily active installs are counted with a random install ID; crash reports stay opt-in.
Fixed
Single-letter addresses complete again.
The file picker no longer flashes.
An agent's own script never presses Send, Pay or Delete without your yes.
