On the Page

Capture

Part of a page, what shows, or all of it, framed on a backdrop and straight to the clipboard.

⇧⌘2
  1. Press ⇧⌘2.
  2. Click a part of the page, such as a chart, a card or a paragraph, or drag an area. ↑ takes the box around what is outlined, ↓ goes back in. Or press ↩ for what shows, or F for the whole page.
  3. It’s on the clipboard, framed, ready to paste.

A card shows what you took. Drag it out to make a file, press Save or ⌘S for a PNG in your downloads folder, or click it to edit.

Edit#

  • Backdrop: the page’s own colors, any color, your wallpaper, or none.
  • Shape: as it is, 16:9, square or 4:5.
  • Hide emails, keys and card numbers, on from the start, covers them before anyone sees the picture.

The look you chose last is the look of the next one.
