AI and Agents

Memory

What agents learn about you, kept on your Mac as notes you can read, correct or forget.

As agents work for you, they keep notes: about you, how you like things done, the people, companies, sites and projects in your life, and what happened each day. Every task starts knowing them, so you don’t explain yourself twice.

Settings › AI › Memory shows the notes by subject. Click one to read it and change it; it saves as you type. They are plain Markdown files on this Mac: Show in Finder opens them.

Get to know me#

Get to Know Me sends an agent through the sites you’re signed in to, to fill in your notes, your profile for forms and your addresses in one go. It only reads, never keeps passwords, codes or card numbers, and takes a few minutes.

It works out of sight, in a shut folder at the end of your tabs, Getting to know you; a click on it shows its chat. When it’s done, the folder becomes a tab, Nice to meet you: a page of everything it kept, each line with where it came from, and what a page asked it to keep that it left alone. Cross out what’s wrong and fix what’s off right there. It’s saved as you go, and what you fix in your profile stays yours: agents never write over it. Tidy Up clears out old addresses and copies brought in from other browsers, never someone else’s.

Its chat leads there too: the first words of its three lines open that part of the page, and the sheet under them opens the page. It also opens again from Settings › AI › Memory, Notes About You.

Forget#

Right-click a note to forget it, or Forget everything to start over. The switch at the top stops agents adding to the notes, and reading them.
