Copy the address, without tracking parameters⇧⌘C
Copy a Markdown link: [Title](address)⌥⇧⌘C
Go to the address on the clipboard, or search it⇧⌘V
A copied address loses utm_, fbclid, gclid and the like. A Markdown link is also copied as a live link, so it pastes as the page’s title in Mail, Notes, Slack and Docs. With several tabs picked, you get one per line.
In a text box, ⇧⌘V pastes without formatting instead.
A whole page#
Press ⌘A on a page, outside any text box, and a small bar offers what to do with it:
Copy what is selected⌘C
Copy the page as Markdown: its headings, lists, tables and links, no menusM
Save it as a file an agent can read, and copy its pathF
On a YouTube video with a transcript, Markdown becomes the transcript. Files for agents are kept a week, and aren’t offered in private tabs.
