Routines

A routine is a task that runs again on a schedule, while Yab is open. What it finds comes to the field, under Now, when you next open a tab.

Make one#

From a terminal:

yab every "weekdays 9:00" "check my mail for anything urgent"

Schedules read like daily 9:00, weekdays 18:30, mon,thu 8:15, hourly or every 2h. Your new tab also offers routines now and then; taking one keeps it.

Settings › AI › Routines lists them, with Run Now and Remove. A run missed while Yab was closed happens once, the next time it’s open that day.

Keep an eye on things#

The field offers Keep an eye on things for me once an agent is connected. Take it, and mornings and after a few hours away, an agent looks through what you use, without marking anything read, and brings back what needs you: a message to answer, a meeting to prepare for, a renewal coming up. Open, put off or dismiss each row.

An agent can also watch a thread for a reply and put it on your new tab when it comes.
