Boosts and the Store

Small changes to the sites you use, tried on your own page first and kept only when you say so.

⌘T⌘E

A boost changes how one site looks: YouTube without Shorts, Hacker News in larger type, GitHub with room for the code. The Store has the ones Yab checks every day, and your agent can make new ones for you.

Find one#

  1. Press ⌘T, type store and press ⇥. The site you are on comes first.
  2. Choose a row to see what it changes, what it is allowed to do and whether it works today.
  3. Press ↩ for Try on My Page. The site opens in a tab of its own with the boost on it.

Nothing is added yet. The card in the corner of that tab says what the boost can do: a Look boost only changes how the site looks, and no code runs. Keep ⌘↩ adds it to every tab of that site; Undo esc takes it back off. Hold ⌥ for Keep for Every Site where a boost allows it.

⌘K on a row has the rest: Remix with Claude to change it to your taste, Check with Claude to have its code read to you in plain words, the boost’s page on the web and its link.

Your boosts on a site#

Open Site Controls with ⌘E. Under Boosts each one you kept has a row: click it to turn it off or on, and its menu has Change…, Show Changes… to go back to an earlier version, and Delete…. Popular rows offer what the Store has for the site, with Try.

A boost from the Store keeps up by itself: when the Store fixes it for a site that changed, the next version replaces yours, as long as it changes nothing about what it may do.

Nothing for what you want?#

Type what should change, then choose Build It with Claude: your agent writes the boost, checks it on your page and brings the same card. Or choose Ask for It to put it on the Store’s requests, where others vote; Yab tells you when someone makes it.
